Flamini isn't going to make anyone look good, he's a weight around his partner's neck, whoever it may be.
That being said, Ramsey needs to be benched as his head is all wrong. He can't trap the ball or keep it ticking with a few simple passes yet still shows outrageous skill at times. Tells me he can't be bothered with the small things and is glory hunting most of the game, and I've got no time for it and neither should Wenger. Selfish player.
I'd like to see a Coquelin-Elneny midfield two with the directive of winning the ball, retaining it, and supporting Ozil in attack. One to man-mark and one to cut passing lanes. We still need another class player in the front 4, our wings are just too weak. Put another player of Sanchez's caliber in the attack and you don't need a player like Cazorla in the center of the park. Although, Cazorla could play at 10 at times with Mesut on the wing if necessary. Fill the squad with as many players that are willing to work for the team, take their first touch seriously, and cater to Ozil, Giroud, and Sanchez's strengths in the final third. If Ozil isn't up to it for whatever reason play Ramsey as a third CM, that's where he excels because he won't take any responsibility and needs two others to clean up after him, despite being physically excellent and having unlimited stamina. He's almost never in our own box defending, and he should be there every single fucking time there is danger. Sanchez manages it when Monreal gets skinned or whatever else happened, yet Ramsey is always receiving the ball from someone else at the top of the D. Immensely frustrating. Cazorla does a better job in defense despite being physically inferior by far.
Too bad about Jack, he could really help us out in any position in the front 6 bar striker in times like this.
