No one wants Walcott at point if we can get Benzema/Cavani. However, if we can't get one of those, then a fair few, myself included, would rather have Walcott up front than go another season with Giroud as the main man.
Giroud is not a bad player, but he isn't that good either. He has shown throughout his career here that he is capable of patches where he scores at a good rate, but he has also shown that he has long spells where he is not putting the ball in the net.
Ramsey v Cazorla. I think it is obvious that Ramsey is the man. I also think that having Ramsey play his game means that the player next to him has to be very disciplined. and top notch in his defending and his positional play. So, IMO we need a Coquelin type player on the pitch rather than an overall better ball player, but lesser defender, to still keep a balance in the middle.
