Klaus, I mean a lot of what you said is up for debate. Though I think some of it is a bit of a stretch, I can see sense in a bunch of it. Today was always the type of game he was going to look good in. Away from home, at a very awkward point of the season, where we kind of just have to get the job done. I was happy with his performance.
Despite all this, he lacks consistency. Not because he doesn't try hard, or because he's low on confidence but because the things he uses to dominate opponents, sometimes, just don't work. Against Palace you're not going to run in to too many problems if you take a poor touch while you're trying to counter, or you stand next to your CM while you need to position yourself somewhere else as a passing option, or you play a pass a fraction behind your full back, but when it comes to games where time and space on the ball are minimal, it makes the difference between carrying the attack on and getting dispossessed. Facing a Chelsea or a City requires a different skill set than a Palace, when it comes to the latter, where there's more margin for error, yes, he's a very effective footballer. Against the better teams where technical proficiency and fluidity of movement are basic requirements, Ramsey doesn't quite excel like the games today would suggest.
