The partnership in central mid for me (like centre defence) is just as important as the quality of player.
Ramsey needs a deep lying ball player next to him to compliment him and balance out his weaknesses.. His best time came when he was playing along side Arteta for a reason.. Right now we don't have that player, Cazorla can play it but it would leave us to light in cm. Having Ramsey and coq play together won't work in the long run and they would not be able to control a midfield.
That leaves us with imo the best option we currently have which is Cazorla and Coq.. as Arteta is past it.. I would love nothing more than for us to buy a busquets type player and have him partner Ramsey in midfield but it doesn't look like that's going to happen so we need to stick with the best partnership we have and get some consistently. As long as Cazorla can keep up his form. I'd stick with them two
I wouldn't mind Ramsey on the wing as much if we had a better more mobile striker but the attack is just to blunt at the moment.., Get a world class striker in and I think we can paper over a lot of the cracks we have elsewhere..
