So around 8 a season on average, sounds believable. Although I'd say it must include retirements, managers moving on voluntarily, etc too.

Crazy.
Counting managers who have just gone from one PL club to another seems wrong. For instance, I wouldn't count Pardew or Pulis since they hardly went any time, if any, without a PL managerial job.

actually.. Brendan Rodgers is the next longest (June 2012)... then Howe at Bournemouth (Oct 2012).. then Mark Hughes at Stoke.. then Mourinho.. THEN Martinez (the last 3 were hired within like 5 or 6 days of each other in may/june 2013)
