so, the manager carousel.

ancelotti sacked by madrid. maybe he goes to liverpool and brenton goes to west ham? that seems like his level.

Ancelotti has said that he is taking a sabbatical. Either way there's no chance that he would move to Liverpool.

My guess is that he will return to Milan but it's dependent on them convincing him that they will back him in the transfer market to overhaul the squad. If he does re-sign, he will be doing so with a view to staying there for more than one season as their situation is not a quick fix. Otherwise, if Ancelotti is keen, I think PSG will sack Blanc and look to appoint him.

i cant see him going back to PSG after last time

Be great if he had a holiday for a year and then came in replace Wenger.

Seems like Pep, Klopp and Ancelotti available from now till 2016 but trust Wenger to leave in 2017 when all of these guys will be in new jobs.

Fat Sam is available.

Jus' sayin'.

That's typical Arsene. Always leaving one year too late so we miss out on a top replacement.

What does everybody think of the impending appointment of Benitez at Madrid? There's talk that he wants to build the team around Bale which I'm sure will go down very well with a certain Portuguese in their squad...

I actually rate Benitez fairly highly, despite the fact that he can be a bit of an oddball. Think he could do well at Madrid if he's allowed to, but his decision making will come under fire quickly if results don't go the right way.

I do as well, has achieved pretty solid success with good-ish squads in the past, who knows how far he could take a team like Madrid?

Think he'll be in danger of being sacked by Christmas. Won't win La Liga and no chance in the Champions League with him in charge. Just my opinion of course...

Really? He's got to the final twice with a significantly weaker side, winning it once, and has also won the UEFA Cup twice. So not sure how that translates into 'no chance' when in charge of one of the 3 strongest sides on Europe.

Don't think he'll command the necessary respect from Ronaldo and co to play his dull, defensive, 'tactical' football. Think it'll all be a bit of a mess.

The respect part may be true. He used to sub Torres off back in his prime, I'd love to see him try and sub Ronaldo off 😆

I actually quite like his brand of football mind you, reckon Chelsea under him were more attractive than at any point in the Roman era.

Speaking of managers who can actually win European cups, Unai Emery - great achievement for him. Wonder if he could be a good replacement once Wenger leaves.

All this talk about this manager and that manager being available and tactics and winning the CL is depressing.

West ham persistent on Klopp and other big names say the Telegraph.

They should hurry up whoever they want to get in because their UEFA cup campaign starts in the beginning of July.
