Qatar brought all the FIFA Staff from the Qatar office out on a luxary yacht to celebrate winning the World Cu[p bid, 3 days before the draw took place. They took the FIFA employees phones off then as they got onboard the yacht so they couldn't tell anyone. Then partied for 3 days.
Part of the bid was modular designed stadiums that would be taken apart and given to 3rd world countries. Turns out no third world country wants the maintanence bill on the stadiums and their struggling to give them away.
