FIFA corruption
Put 'em in with this guy.
America, fuck yeah! I want to see blatter broken
It's about time.
Unsure how far this will go but hopefully this forces their sponsors to actually put some pressure to reform their organisation. This kind of publicity won't make Coca cola or Addidas very happy
Hope so.
Swiss prosecutors have also launched a criminal investigation over the world cup bids.
FIFA have always wanted to get the US more interested in football. They've succeeded.
separate investigation into the 2018 and 2022 bids. fuck yeah
Wouldn't get too excited Gazza, that article is a year old.
the swiss are launching a new investigation:
Updated at 7.34pm AEST
The office of the Swiss attorney general has announced it is now questioning 10 Fifa executives who took part in voting on the 2018 and 2022 World Cup bids. A statement says criminal proceedings have opened “against persons unknown on suspicion of criminal mismanagement and of money laundering in connection with the allocation of the 2018 and 2022 football World Cups”.
If the big name players and teams bounded together and denounced FIFA and their actions, Blatters little Cosa Nostra would crumble like a house of cards. Seems like noone dares to be the first to speak up. Very disappointing.
That's not really true though, the FA and even UEFA have pretty openly opposed Blatter. He gets his power from the many, rather than the powerful few.

I'm talking names. Say Messi, Ronaldo, Robben, Neuer, Neymar, Suarez write an open letter to Blatter on behalf of their national sides, citing their dissatisfaction with the corruption and human rights abuses they are involved in, and asking their sponsors to take a stand on it. Blatter cannot survive something like that, guaranteed.

Where does it say this?
Edit: On another link that was in the first link it says something along those lines but about prosecuting those responsible, not that it will change the outcome of the vote as Fifa are responsible for the location and they are adamant, as recently as today, that there will be no rebidding.

footballers don't know shit. The national FAs on the other hand DO have power on this
Quote on the radio from an FBI source: 'Rampant and endemic corruption throughout the whole organisation'.

You don't have to be bright if the facts are all laid out in front of you. The top players have a ton of power. If Messi calls out Adidas who do you think they will side with? It's very easy for them to set this right, if they want to.
Finally!
I really hope this is just the lid coming off pandoras box, more or less the whole organisation doubtlessly belong in prison.
Still no Blatter but we have time. Hope they get him.

Blatter is the Teflon Don of the 21st century. He'll have to step down in disgrace but they won't be able to charge him.
