Here is a thread for discussing the upcoming Copa America tournament hosted by Chile which starts from 11 June.
Jamaica and Mexico are the two invited teams these year.

The full schedule for the matches in available at the link below.
http://www.conmebol.com/en/copa-america-2015-en/fixture

These are the groups for the tournament.

Group A - Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Bolivia
Group B - Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Jamaica
Group C - Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela

It should be a fun tournament with plenty of big names involved.

17 days later

Alexis almost scored in the first minute of the match. That would have been an amazing start.

Another chance for Alexis who tries to lob the keeper but its saved.

Cavani asked about upcoming opponent in Copa America, Jamaica: "As any other African team, they're strong."

πŸ˜†

Most of their ancestors were African at least...

Cavani, what a dumb bastard.

Argies I think should be the official title holders of under achievers from Spain.with the kind of talent they produce....
Stank it up yesterday too.

πŸ˜† πŸ˜† peru's first goal against brazil. what a riot.

ok, brazil are gonna run riot now, peru's defending while conceding their first was horrific/non-existent.

The farm was that? Kid is fun to watch

damn, sanchez should've had the winner. such a marginal call, not sure if even offside.

Aguero scores with a great diving header, falls awkward and then shoulder injury(wonder if it's from the fall or the celebration). His body is a joke. So much talent but doesn't stay fit. Tevez always seems to take the selfish option, always felt that. Intense match won by the argies somehow.

Paraguay's goal v Jamaica... πŸ˜†

Arturo Vidal in jail for drunk driving and crashing his Ferrari πŸ˜† What a fucking idiot.

Vidal is a fucking imbecile. Then again he has struggled with drugs before and some say he suffers from alcoholism... you wonder what his wife was thinking getting into the car with him in that state.

He will lose his license and face jail time (which he will most likely avoid, as most do in most countries), but the coach is not going to punish him. He's incredibly lucky that no one else got hurt: if the collision had led to a serious injury chilean law stipulates he would have had to spend a minimum of one year in prison.

I saw on other articles that the Chilean fans are hugely supporting him. Wouldn't they riot if the coach or Chile FA punish him?

πŸ˜† Firmino with an epic miss; He doesn't seem like a consistent player.

so with a loss and neymar red card, that's brazil out of here. Pretty good chance for argentina to win this, unless tata...

It depends on what the punishment is. The guy will be disciplined legally, and some form of ANFP (FA) sanction is obviously in order, but kicking him out of the team in the middle of the Copa AmΓ©rica is not something even I can fully get behind.

How is that even possible for a pro footballer ffs πŸ˜†

Neymar blasting the ball at Armero as the Colombian celebrates after the final whistle: πŸ˜†

Full incident:

Red card for Bacca was harsh. I really enjoyed that.

Neymar is such a little prick. Horrible, horrible attitude.

But wonderful, wonderful player.

Doesn't excuse his mis-kick and the subsequent flapping around though.

Clearly had his angles covered

Meanwhile Chile's started brightly. Leading 1-0 vs Bolivia

Neymar's Copa America is over. 4 match ban

Just as I power up my stream, Alexis hit the post with a brilliant free-kick.

Unlucky not to score.

Another brilliant free kick, this time it's the fucking bar.
