At least with Alexis his mentality is to give it his all, he might be sulky git but at least he gives it his all and is quality. Keeping him is the only thing which will give us any chance of a top 4 finish

i dont think top 4 is probable even if we keep alexis. we are not better than chelsea and man city. i doubt we are better than united at this point. that means its us vs spuds and liverppol. both look stronger. they are certainly better managed/prepared.

Let him go. That should ensure we finish mid table this season. Then we can get Wenger out and get a new manager who can use the money to buy players with some applications of mind as to how they fit into a team and then actually coach them into a coherent system.

It will make me happier if it ensures Wenger gets sacked come May (or even earlier).

That the club tells him something doesn't make it true. It's obvious that we've bid 50m for Lemar or something and that we've now received 40m for Chamberlain and something for Gibbs.

You people never learn. How many kept wishing year after year that we'd drop out of Champions League just so Wenger would get sacked, based on some made-up theoretical scenario that has no connection to the real world? Well, it happened, and he's still here. The only difference is that we pay him more for doing a worse job now. We sell Alexis (massive twat as he is) and we are the only ones who'll end up poorer for it. Wenger will still be in charge and he'll still have his paycheck. The club will improve their cash balance. Kroenke's investment will be worth a little bit more. And the fans will have worse football to enjoy and a team in complete turmoil.

Exactly, unless you are crazy enough you are not securing a top player on a cheap. That's the story of this transfer window. Our stance remains no to sale unless something crazy come along.

Anyway FWIW, there's no way in hell we have no money. Simply not believable when you consider even the bottom clubs are spending freely.

The club deserves to go into free fall, the lack of ambition shouldn't be rewarded with players like Sanchez.
