We've always been a selling club, but at least at our pomp it was to real Madrid and Barca for top money. We also managed to replace players immediately and offered enough of a title challenge to keep players for a while.

The moment we were willing to accept offers internally (a. Cole) was the beginning of our downfall and we've never really got out of that point. Players know the option is on the table and will position for it.

if any team is willing to offer £35-40m for ozil, we should accept it immediately.

ox has consistently bleated on about wanting to be like stevie g (that overrated fuck has birthed a whole generation of these wannabes btw). i remember when they interviewed him after the cup final and they said he'd finally found a position, he basically said 'nah i still want to be like stevie'. that irked me badly at the time

wenger hasn't helped by constantly saying he sees him as a central player over the years. i've literally never though he was a good fit there.

I hope Liverpool pay up and play him in the center of midfield.
