The only reason I'd keep him is his power out wide. Which is something that Bellerin lacks, Ox you feel can power through players out wide whereas Bellerin is more someone to zip around them.

From what I understand it is his agent who is pushing him to move, player himself is happy to stay. One thing he needs to get into his head is that all his inconsistency has been tolerated here but if he gets his big money move they won't be so forgiving there.

The idea that he wants more assured game time doesn't really stack up either considering we're far more forgiving and patient than others.

I wouldn't sell Ox either though. He's a good weapon to have and 20m doesn't get you anything in this market.

As far as I remember, he also saw more minutes than most of our players last season. We should sell if we are getting good money.

Ox is second generation football his loyalties are to the industry not the club.

Decent player who might become very decent, but we've got to be willing to trade hard with mid tier mercenaries even if the sums of money feel extreme.

i'd lean towards keeping assuming we stay with 343. if someone offers around 30m i'd be very tempted to cash in though

We have to sell Ox this summer IMO. He's not in the Alexis bracket of keep him at all costs. Ox is decent when fit and on form but he's easily replaceable. We'll have to replace him next summer anyway so why wait?

Headlines today that he wants 120k to stay = don't let the door hit you on your way out.

If he wasn't HG this wouldn't be worth any consideration & he'd be cut lose without a thought.

120k really isn't all that right now for a first team player. If he really does want 120k I think we should just give it to him.

Theo should be seen as a warning that giving players of that level a big wage isn't great business. And at least Theo had a few decent seasons under his belt when he got that money. Whats Ox ever done?

Not a fan of being held hostage by the likes of Ox and Walcott every time they put together a decent 5 month spell.

Don't mind paying him 120k if he keeps his level of performance up but the reason why we have so much deadwood in the first place is because we pay them a lot of money before they've done anything. This time next year Ox could revert to type and we won't be able to shift him even if we wanted to
