And Per was a decent defender, not elite. I don't think we have a single CB that will make the young boys look better than they actually are, mitigate how much they could get exposed. Sokratis in my opinion was a poor signing anyways. I can't stand Mustafi but this is a crucial season for Arsenal. A Bielik plus any other current defender pairing is disaster in my opinion.

Not concrete but I have seen Rugani's name mentioned of late now that Juve have signed de Ligt.

Rugani would be a terrible buy. The Mustafi of Turin is a perfect summary. Bloke is out of his depth at Juve. His failure to step up is one of the reasons they're having a defensive crisis right now.

He had a year left and if hes refusing to sign were better of selling with a % of future transfer fee or buy back clause.

A loan looks the right move this season for Mavropanos. I'm not sure one back to Greece will help him if he wants to make it here at Arsenal though.

I think a loan is just a way to get someone to try before they buy at ths stage. Mavropanos won't turn out for us again.
