I see a houseboat rumour about Monreal has got everybodys attention.
Monreal has one year plus Arsenal have another 1 year option too so it's nothing to worry.
Ok, in this case its nothing to worry about, unless we simply want Ghoulam in and Monreal out.
Or Ghoulam in and Gibbs out!
Anything to get rid of him, I'm sure the promoted clubs would take this excuse of a footballer. Gibbs that is.
Ridiculous.
😆

Marca say Bilbao are on the brink of announcing an €8m deal for Monreal. Still can't see it but there's a lot of smoke.
Marca... lol.. 'nuff said
There's been smoke ever since Monreal joined.
Don't really see why'd he'd want to leave right now and I can't see Wenger wanting to sell him either unless we had a significant upgrade in the works.
Monreal is nearly 30, I can definitely see Wenger trying to cash in on his purple patch.
Nah, not unless he has identified a player ready to come in and take his place - I wouldn't mind that. But Gibbs is definitely not good enough to be our first choice LB, so we can't afford to let Monreal go with no replacement.
Gibbs and Monreal are about the same level. I'd love to see us upgrade at left back. Its the easiest spot in the first 11 to improve on.
After last season when the disparity was very obvious you still think they are about the same level?
I don't think there was ever a bigger difference between them than last season. Before that they were very equal.
Before last season Monreal was far worse.
De Boer has confirmed Yaya Sanogo will spend a year on loan at Ajax.
Akpom will get his place in the squad then.

Really don't see what Arsenal and Ajax see in him. If he's not good enough for Crystal Palace, I doubt he'd be great shakes at Ajax.
I think you're underestimating him. He has the potential to be very good, in my opinion. Probably won't ever be a goal machine, but he's got that stature and presence up top that many teams are looking for in today's one-striker set ups.
I think it's his combination of pace, height and strength, he's got potential.
