I do agree.

We might have to overpay on wages, but players will come if they can see we have a worthwhile project.

100-120m for Auba and I would sell straight away. Laca is useful in every game, Auba can be totally anonymous in big games.

If there's any chance to get Joao Felix or Piatek, sell both.

I wouldn't go Joao Felix. Incredible player, but he wipes us out out transfer budget completely. We have to go players find Under the radar like Cengiz. We get 2 or 3 players like that for the Lacazette money, then we are talking. If you can't get an Ndombele, maybe take some risks: a defender like a Jonathan Tah from Germany or an Andersson or Mancini from Serie A.

Aside from Henry there has never been a single Arsenal player that I wouldn't have sold for that money, but who's offering it?

Who knows, but if China is in the mix, it means we are probably talking stupid money. Again, I’d be ready to sell Auba for a ridiculous sum if it meant we invested in all other parts of the squad where we are suffering greatly.

Leaves us without a striker though. Our winger would need to be a mastermind to make up for the loss of Aubameyang. We would need the 2nd coming of Mbappe on the wing basically.

Maybe, but when did they ever splash that much on transfer fees, realistically speaking? None of the transfer records have ever been to a Chinese club. It's usually the wages that are obscene over there in order to convince the players.

I mean, we’d buy a replacement who’s hopefully adequate... Anelka type signing... Might not be a ready made golden boot winner but if this individual is talented and could chip in with say 15 goals in the league, and we have our winger, and our midfield maestro, and a solid young left fullback/central defender, I think I could tolerate it.

We want good football, we want youth, we want excitement and to enjoy our games again, I think that’s what it’s going to take.

Someone like Under is great because he scored 7 goals which feels well below his potential output. So could be undervalued. But will he get up to the required 15? Sarr, on the other hand, had 13 goals and 8 assists, but that was in the suspect French league. Again. we could bring him in at 40m pounds, but will he get up to 15 goals next season in England?

I really genuinely worry about selling Aubameyang. If you sold Lacazette, kept Aubameyang, and then brought in a Sarr or an Under, then I could sit up and pay attention. And then you can get the CM and the defender, and we are talking.

It's a worse record than that: He only got 8 goals and 6 assists in 35 appearance in Ligue Une. The rest of his goals came in Europa: 4 goals in 9 games and the French Cup, which Rennes won, where he got 1 in 5 games.

Thanks, Ricky. Yeah, I'm happy to throw away Aubameyang's resale value. If fed properly, he can score even more goals. His goals will keep us in contention for a top 4 place.

Cladius, that's how I'm assessing the situation. Our team is in shambles, but if we prioritize Aubameyang he'll give us a shot at 4th regardless of what we surround him with. I don't think I could say the same about Lacazette...

I don't think Auba can score as much without Laca in the team - in terms of the top level finishers I've seen play for us, I rank Auba as one of lowest in terms of being able to change the game by himself. He needs good attackers around him. I wouldn't sell either one of them, mostly because no one's going to be stupid enough to offer us the crazy numbers (100M+).

Selling him before signing a replacement is a terrible idea. Hes often or most creative midfielder.

Mixed feelings, he's certainly not at the top of the list of players I want out...though I recognize he's not good enough either.
