I’m fine with Giroud going there.
Sell him - won't be missed.
Arsenal are a club with a reputation for looking after players interests. We're doing olly a huge solid by agreeing this deal instead of shipping him off to Germany which is what most club would do
18m not a disaster for a 32yr old but if selling to a rival you’d want a premium. As Gaz says it looks like we’re looking after Giroud. Fair enough, if there’s one player in the squad who deserves it it’s him.
He has reportedly refused to go to Germany. I am sure we tried. As Wenger always says, three parties have to be in agreement 🙂
Love Giroud, would hate to see him in a Chelsea jersey, but if this is what gets us Aubameyang, then so be it.
Giroud would be de facto fourth choice if he stayed. In a team that generally plays with one striker.
He wanted Chelsea and the wanted him - good business all around.

See my previous post. There is NO premium to be extracted given the sequence of events.
Really don't want to see him banging them in for them. And he will.
Stupid move. We don't need to sell him to a rival. Clubs priorities should be 1st.
Club priorities are first.
We have to let Giroud go there or risk missing out on Auba.
What do you expect the club to do?
Should have loaned Giroud, then sell him outright for more money in the summer.

Not convinced that is the case, but yea if it was. Fair enough.

He doesn't want to go there. This isn't the NBA, we can't force him to move to Germany for 4 months.

Lol. Wrighty says some nutty things.
He's a meme - bet he's barely watched Aubameyang
The club has done it again, selling Giroud for 18m in this inflated market is fucking insane, considering Roma quoted them over 35m for a 31 year old Dzeko.
FFS an out of favour Kevin Wimmer went for about 18m too, and we are selling to direct rivals who are desperate for a big man

Laca, Auba and who?

Doesn't make sense looking at just the price here. The club want Aubameyang and to facilitate that transfer Giroud will have to go. We could either not sell or drag it out but then we won't sign Auba
Giroud seems a good fit for Chelsea too, can see him having a positive impact on their season
What a win this window is. I could cry.
