Welbeck yes, but Iwobi no. Yeah, he's not delivering, but I still think there's great potential there. It's very early to give up on him.

In what world is Iwobi's shot accuracy the highest? Only way that works is if they're talking about putting it on frame, which he does but straight to the goalie.

He looks as likely to score as Welbeck these days.

A quick check on Squawka says he has 70% shot accuracy in the league. If you think about it how often does he hit it not very hard, right at the keeper? That counts as shot accuracy. Anyway I was more interested in his "big chance" created stat.

You really think he's POTY calibre? That's the level for a player at his position at Arsenal.

He's not a big workrate guy who puts in a shift defensively, either. He's a squad player.

Burnley want Holding on loan for the rest of the season, if we bring in Evans. Dyche seems to do very well with centre backs, think he could learn a lot.

Dyche is a very good defensive coach but Holding will have a hell of a job getting a game ahead of Tarkowski and Mee.

I can't really see him get into their team either unless there are injuries. It might be a good long-term move for Holding, but the whole point of loaning him somewhere in the short-term would be that we haven't given up on him at Arsenal and want him to get minutes on the pitch. There has to be better options out there.

Somewhere like Watford, Newcastle or Palace where they chop and change in defence might be a better shout.

My first thought was Newcastle because Rafa is actually an astute defensive coach despite his present problems. I would rather he went there and tried to establish himself as the man. Burnley would be a waste of half a season.

You still have to dump Debuchy in the summer, and then deal with the Holding-Evans question next season. You’re pushing out your problems, maybe even snowballing them.
I don’t like littering, but isn’t there somewhere we can just ‘forget’ Debuchy?
