We have plenty of academy products left. There are 3-4 on the field every week. Don't worry about Coquelin; Wenger has already given him a career that seemed beyond his wildest dreams a few years back. This club owes him absolutely nothing. In about two years he's gonna play in the French second division.
Bellerin, who else?
Bellerin, Wilshere, Maitland-Niles, Iwobi. Ramsey and Walcott at a stretch maybe. And then there's Nelson, Macey, Jeff and a few others on the fringes. Academy products everywhere, and if they don't make it they'll be replaced by others who want a chance to prove themselves. There's no shortage of them and literally no reason to be unreasonably attached to someone who came through the ranks a decade ago and hasn't evolved an inch since then.

I know you don't like him but he's deserving of some respect at least, he always gave 100%, had some top class performances in our shirt and cared a lot more for it than the majority of our current squad
I have nothing personal against Coquelin. That description fits Bendtner, Denilson and most other two-bob players who have turned out for us though. Even Sanogo tried hard when he was on the field. If you're not good enough you should go. If you haven't screwed us over badly you can have a pat on the shoulder and hold your head high, but I reserve the respect for players who have achieved something noteworthy.
