Two journalists have mentioned Arsenal as a possible destination:

Julien Laurens mentioned that Arsenal have watched him several times this season.

Now another journalist Matt Spiro who also writes regularly for the official site of ligue 1 have mentioned that Arsenal have sights on two ligue 1 based players- Nabil Fekir and the Monaco CB Aymen Abdennour.

Personally want the other Lyon forward not Fekir.

Lyon have a good recent history of producing French strikers- Benzema, Remy and Lacazette.

If Wenger wanted Fekir why not get him last summer instead of Welbeck? So basically I wouldn't mind getting this guy if we got rid of Welbeck but I don't see the point in having both. We need an upgrade on Giroud or a young star who's a bit less of a gamble.

Last summer Fekir was a nobody. He'd barely broken through.

Let's face it QS Wenger only changed plans late on when Giroud got injured and he was faced with the prospect of playing Sanogo for 3 months. He'd have been quite happy to over-play him again. God knows what striker he'd been waiting for.

Wenger used to find these guys before they'd broken through.

Anyway, I think Fekir looks like a huge talent. Reckon he'd cost quite a bit though.

I've read a bit about Fekir and that's the feeling I get too. He's been earmarked by Lyon to become their next great player.

Was reading about him a few months ago, many feel he is the real star at Lyon rather than Lacazette. Some going as far as saying much of Lacazette's good form is down to Fekir.

Not sure this signing would make much sense though, I think he plays centrally and off the striker so not a position where we need to strengthen urgently

he used to do a lot of stuff. anyway to be fair, lyon would never have sold him last summer. he was earmarked for greatness by them so they won't want him going on the cheap before he showed what he was about.

Fekir looks a tremendous talent. Definitely would love him here. Rosicky replacement

Him and his father have both come out how he only wants to move to Arsenal if he leaves Lyon. I don't think we're interested and I'm certain we'll regret it. Who was the last player to be in double figures for goals and assists in the league alone in his debut season?

More like Wenger converts him into a LW who'll claim a starting spot, way too talented to become a squaddie.

Fekir is much more direct than Nasri. A really good dribbler. I am impressed by him, but we need Lacazette more.

Nah, Lacazette isn't good enough.

Is this Fekir any relation to Furqan Derya?

Is Fekir a striker or not?

How can he be described as one, and yet touted as a Rosicky replacement? 😆

According to whoscored (I've never seen him play) his appearances have been fairly evenly split between attacking midfielder and striker.
