dybala is quicker than lamela and has better technique. lamela is a pure winger too, and dybala has played through the center quite a bit i believe

Lamela did look special in Italy, and for a while showed that this year. I don't watch Spurs but it seems he's not making their starting XI again.

Anyways, if we're not giving Theo/Vela a consideration as our CF I struggle to see us playing Dybala there. So it does seem to come down to an evaluation of whether he can play wide.

This seems like the fakest rumor in a while. He doesn't seem anywhere remotely near good enough of an athlete for a club like ours to look at him twice. I'd be shocked if we had any interest at all.

Wenger flat out denied making an offer and said that there is no interest in the player.

Loved his reaction to being asked whether Zamparini's claims that we've made an offer are true: "Ask him to show it to you."

I keep telling you guys. Never listen to anything Zamparini says.

Wenger almost never buys hype. Also the age group is wrong. Lately he seems to either buy teenagers or well established pro's

Why is this thread still open?

Guy has 12 month left and is a top talent, but their chairman is just hyping up the interest to try and get a decent fee. We could pick him up at a decent price if the only others making offers are Italian clubs.

But Wenger has said we are not interested, and there was nothing tongue in cheek about the way he said it.

Yeah, he shook his head and expressed his thoughts very clearly there. Case closed.

Wenger has never played the lie about a target card right? Santi Cazorla anyone?

Wenger knows how to play his cards right, but Cazorla was a different situation altogether, and that comment about not knowing who he was was obviously tongue-in-cheek.

The only sources regarding Dybala by contrast are coming from Palermo, who have a known history of drumming up interest for players through the press. Zamparini has put into system to buy highly rated south american talents and then sell them as soon as they begin to look like decent players.

The way that Zamparini guy is whoring Dybala out, I've stopped wanting him altogether.

The reason for the drumming is that he has 12 months left and won't sign. Chairman needs create false demand to get a hiked price.

Been watching him recently and can't say I'm overly fussed by not getting him

I'd take Llorente off Juve if they want rid.

Be mindful of Llorente's form this season though. Sometimes it looked like he had forgotten how to score a goal.

Morata's rising stature has a lot to do with Llorente's barren spell.

What this means is that we should offer them money for Domenico Berardi, because it's obvious he won't have a future at Juve. They have Dybala and Morata now who are both 22. Perfect opportunity to snatch a supreme Italian talent from them.

I don't feel like we've missed out on Dybala. Don't think we were interested for a start, but I'm not sure he's that special either.

He's not. Morata is the one we've missed out on in recent years. Dybala is going to be another Iturbe. He's really not the player Juve should be spending 28 million on at the moment.
