Come on Everton (& Wolves)!

Looks like it's the end of the road for uncle Woy, shame he never really had much of a chance......
😆 @ Chelsea.

Everton have completed the first part of the deal. Now it's up to Spurs to take their anger out on United when the two teams meet.

Unbelievable set of results. How good must it feel to be a United fan tonight.

Had the Scum-Everton game on in the pub, on a small side tele. When Everton scored, I shouted out "get in, gall on Everton!". Clapping like a madman. Didn't go down well with the shit load of Scum fans that were in there 🙂

Very pleased to get in and see those fuckers lost. Well done Everton.

😆

Ancellotti was so sure that they would win their next game after Villa.

I hope they sack Ancelotti and descend into absolute chaos. Same for Pool.

Can you imagine being a Liverpool fan and seeing your team relegated in the same season that United win a record title. Many would want to fling themselves into the Mersey

anyone else feel sorry for hodgson? i couldn't care less about liverpool, but he's a class act and deserves better than he's getting.

no. not really. it looks like he hasn't connected with the players, and hasn't been able to get the team to play attractive or effective football.

at least some of the other guys with similarly bad records have their teams playing decent football. think about teams with fewer resources like blackpool, bolton and even wolves having a go. liverpool are completely unwatchable. if he were healthy, torres would be worth rescuing from this quagmire

Feel more sorry for Houllier. His players cant accept his training regime and he isnt given enough time to complete setup his own side.

Yes, I do. He's shown all around the world what a good manager he is, no more so than at Fulham. The Liverpool job was a horrible job to take on, they were a mess long before Roy got there, and he hasn't been good enough to turn that around - few could.

The problem for Pool now is one of experienced candidates. Do you want to get a manager who has no experience in the Premier League to save you from relegation? You probably want someone familiar with the league. That means sticking with Hodgson or going into the pile of Premier League rejects and retreads like Big Sam or Martin O'Neill.

Martin O'Neill would be great for Liverpool. Passionate man, English style football and not particularly dull in his approach to football.

O'Neill took his toys and went home when Lerner wouldn't give him a pile of cash to splash at Villa, though. There's no way he'd take the job even if Liverpool offered it to him.

I reckon he'd definitely go to them - Liverpool is a brand whose prestige takes longer than a few years to tarnish, and I'd be surprised if O'Neill didn't jump at the chance.

I think he'd improve them too - though probably not enough to get back into the CL anytime soon.
