But I think no doubt most party animals on here are acutely aware of the realistic situation, yet opt to get in the mix - that is cool. Freedom to cultivate whatever fantasy - why not? I'm all for it.
I don't agree though that (even realistically) there's nothing to expect form our current crop. I think there is quality there - let's see if they are caught in the hype, and carry us to fantasy land.

Fuck Wenger- He's the reason we've once again found ourselves in this position, his ideology is the wrong one to succeed in Europe Steaky. Having said that we are still a very good team and these players are made of sterner stuff than previous bunches and I think we should bounce back.

Well its gallows humour Yuvy, some will face it trembling in fear others (like me will swear and curse Wenger) others again will drift into escapist fantasy, but it matters not a whit- It will all end up the same way.
Exactly the same team as in the first leg, apart from Nacho instead og Gibbs. Should've had Ramsey starting as we need to dominate the midfield, and possession.

Would have preferred Ramsey with Coquelin while Ozil with Alexis and Walcott to his sides and Giroud up-top.
Welbeck besides run and do a bit of defensive work contributes mostly nothing attacking wise.
Definitely should have played Ramsey. Strange decision to leave out our best midfield goal threat.

Why do Wenger like Welbeck? Baffling decision. Welbeck is horrible on the ball, his movement off the ball is poor and he doesn't score goals.
Lets hope today Welbeck delivers. He have a knack of scoring important goals in top games.
