Hope I'm wrong but Ramsey would have much better against that physical midfield in a deeper role.
Don't think Ramsey starting on the bench is so odd. It gives us an attacking option on the bench (subbing off Coq) later on in the game. Otherwise, it's just Theo on the bench to give us an alternative attacking route to plan A.
Need a goal within the first 30 mins.
Don't understand the team selection. Cazorla and Ozil against Monaco's midfield is bound to fail.
Any good streams around?
Glad Wenger isn't rushing Rambo. Us progressing is a massive long shot anyway. Have him come in on the 70 min mark if there is hope, otherwise just rest him.
Maybe he will play Ozil and Welbeck wide and bring Alexis, who is a more "shoot on sight" guy, central.
Cazorla and Ozil on pitch at the same time check. Welbeck and Giroud on pitch at the same time check. No Ramsey check.
Wenger is an idiot check.
The West Ham game was Ramsey's first start since coming back from injury. I can see why he's not keen on starting him twice in 4 days.
I don't like our chances but if we are going to have any hope of pulling off a miracle we're going to have to be leading at half time.
I've had such a shit day, needing an Arsenal performance here.
If we lose because of a non-existent midfield I'll feel completely let down, baffling decision to drop Ramsey.
At least Mert is on the pitch, we'll be able to pump balls up to him for the last 10.

Exactly, if Wenger had started him and he did his hamstring again, everyone would be crying about why we rushed him back to play him in a game that was basically a dead rubber.
I am trying to convince myself that we are already out to soften the blow but ...
Scholes should have stayed a mute.

Still it could happen ;D
Disappointed by the lack of an Alfonso motivational special. Slacker.
For some reason I'm feeling really nervous. You just never know, there are many variables in football... It could happen.
Would love us to win just to shut Scholes up
i cant be nervous until we get anywhere near looking like we could turn it around.. for example, we lead 2-0 by the end of the first half.. ill get nervous because we COULD do it.. but if we go down 1-0, calm as anything since i know we arent going thru
