Remember Gyan Asamoah?

Asamoah had a good season at Sunderland to the extent some bigger clubs in the PL reportedly wanted him and in the prime of his career went there. He has a cristiano ronaldo-esque rate of scoring goals for his club (apparently 90 in 74 games). He's scored 18 goals at international level in the last 2 years too. Such a waste going there at 25.

Have a lot of respect for what Juve are doing. Their summer is two days old and they've already bagged Khedira and Dybala. Khedira could be a replacement for Vidal, but they've sorted their team out quickly.

What's doing the rounds is Valencia have an obligation to pay 32m euros for Negredo but he had some serious injury and came back and has been awful and he's 30 in August so they want to sell him and understand they will get a significant loss.

That seems legit, given that Peter Lim manages Martinez's agent company.

He is using his connections to sign alot of Portugese League players and earning a profit from the agent fees.

Manchester United want Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic, 29, a year after he joined the Spanish club from Bayern Munich for £18.5m.

Simeone knows Vietto well having signed the player from Estudiantes while he was in charge of Argentinian side Racing Club in 2011.

"Vietto is one of our aims," Simeone said. "We are close to signing him.

"I hope we can have him with us next season because he is a player that has extraordinary characteristics."

Apparently he's costing about 14.5m pounds
