Some info on Dybala deal from Di-Marzio english correspondent David Amoyal-

Dybala cost Juve €32 million plus €8 million in bonuses, he's most expensive purchase of Marotta era

Dybala was expensive for sure but Juve is paying Palermo in 4 installments and his transfer fee will be amortized over a 5 year contract

Dybala's wages are relatively low (I believe around €2.5 million net) so overall he is much cheaper than say an Alexi Sanchez type deal

Congrats to Palermo, they invested €12 million in Dybala, developed him & got a huge return for a player with one year on his contract.

You can't have Modric, Kroos and Veratti all in the same midfield - too similar. No balance. Like them this year; lots of good players shoehorned into the same XI but less than the sum of their parts because there's no balance.

I do think they need a Veratti though, their form went to shit the moment Modric was injured.

But I agree, their midfield is a mess. Alonso-Khedira-Ozil was their best midfield in the past few years.

i dont think perez really cares about balance or constructing the team in a pragmatic manner. he just wants the new fresh toy and to cram as many superstars into one starting lineup as possible. rafa probably wants to buy 4 holding midfielders this summer and play a defensive 4-5-1.

Verratti is the best midfielder in the world. I'm going to be livid if he signs for Real Madrid. I love watching him play but I can't fucking stand that club.

Seriously? Having been a bench player ever since Guardiola left and with Neymar, Suarez and Messi all ahead of him I would have expected a player of his calibre to want to go somewhere where he'd be first choice. Poor decision from him to accept sitting on the bench for the foreseeable future.

They'll try but PSG aren't an easy club to deal with especially if they don't want to sell. Barca tried to unsettle Silva but were met with a blunt no. Famously the PSG owner threatened to activate Messi's release clause if Barca tried to activate Silva's. Last season R.Madrid wouldn't do a deal with PSG over Di Maria either so we don't know how they feel about that.

Pedro gets games when any of those three don't play. It's his hometown club, he gets paid well, and wins trophies. And because the whol team is great, it's not too difficult for him to do well when he does play.

Easy decision to make.
