Giroud has a number of limitations, athletic and technical. There is not one person who doesn't want a better striker than him. A lot of fans want to see players give their all and despite his limitations Giroud does fairly well. He is known to be a late bloomer. He has come on laps and bounds since he has joined us. He just doesn't get enough appreciation for the effort he has put in.
He is our best defender on set pieces, he works extremely hard defensively while a few others are ambling around. He tests most defenders physically and is always bursting a gut to get on the end of chances. He certainly isn't deserving of some of the ridicule that comes his way.
