I don't know what definition they're using. There were at least two clearcut chances in there though. You can't fault Monreal too much for missing the first one since he's a leftback, but still... it's the kind of chance we really have to bury. Sanchez should have been the one making that run, or Walcott. None of them did all game, like you say. I don't get why. We don't try hard enough to exploit space behind the defence. The way our wide players prefer to cut inside the field instead and then drift across the face of the goal without taking a shot, eventually passing the ball either backwards or to a fullback, makes me mad.
