Religion is not an ideology its lots of different ideologies. If you follow one then thats an ideology you buy into. There are other ideologies you can subscribe to if you are not religious but they are different.

Well, everyone has an ideology, even the boring mainstream viewpoint is ideological by definition, but what you've said is true enough apart from that

in my opinion, one of the biggest issues today involves how information is gathered. there is significant resources devoted to sigint, but it seems to have come as the expense of humint. having good human intelligence to lean on is vastly important.

The majority (over 60 so far) of the casualties in the Lahore blast seems to have been little kids. It's absolutely heartbreaking.

The BBC speculates that Christian families celebrating Easter might have been the target for the attack. A childrens playground caught the brunt of the attack. Horrific.
