Heart breaking, sure, acutely painful.

But we fought, and for a while we hoped, and we left with our pride and dignity intact.

These recent years though, the way we tuck our tails in, and concede 8 goals, 6 goals, 5 goals...

Those type of shambolic, pathetic and shameless performances and senseless losses in this new Wenger era have been the lowest point of my supportership.

CL final was painful, but hardly a low point... was one of the high points, actually. We were really where we want to be -
I'll take that every day even if that pain is included.

Low points were the 8:2 and others where we were simply irrelevant. Last year we had a few of those.

Eddie and Rambo's injuries were sickening and felt like low points to me.

Liverpool in the CL for me. That run by Theo should have been one of the greatest ever Arsenal moments and be talked about for decades, instead it's all but forgotten. To have it taken away from us like that while still rolling around on the floor going berserk and celebrating was the most cruel thing I've ever experienced. Think I was a zombie and didn't speak for about 3 days after.

For me the most brutal low was the 8-2 v United.

That took some time to forget.

The most significant lows were losing CL final, Birmingham x 2, Ramsey having his leg destroyed and selling Cesc and RvP.

Generally speaking I do bounce back fairly quickly once we put a few wins together.

Agree with Flobs and Yuvy, we did very well to get to the final and still went ahead after losing a man, brave fight.
Compared to the many abject pathetic surrenders on several occasions, coupled with some of the despicable cunts Wenger sullied our shirt with it it doesn't even register.

Well I guess that's the difference between the pain of loss when you know you had a chance and the despair at loss when you know you were never in the game.

Biggus - I thought of Sylvester as a low point - thinking of him pitted against Messi was the definition of being irrelevant and a classic low point.
Actually having him was. And so was Squilacci, Munia, Denilson (I ssso want to kick him in the Ass - I can't see him in my mind's eye anyway but Denilsoning
and the music in my brain is always the same: we're conceding from this, you @%#$% ! ) and a few others.

Losing a few players, knowing they're not about to be replaced. deflating.
