I'd rather Liverpool got destroyed than ever see them back in the top tier. They're the worst club in the world by a wide margin, and it's not really because of the current management or the current players. It's because of the cult that has formed around the team. The cuntishness is in their club culture, in their very identity, and I don't see how that's fixable. Chelsea will eventually lose much of their repulsiveness the day José and Roman leave. But Liverpool? They'll be even bigger assholes in 30 years.

Bit of a risk for Klopp I think. His reputation took a bit of a knock after that last season with Dortmund, if he achieves nothing of note in the next few seasons with Liverpool his stock will drop even further.

I can't see him working any miracles with their current squad. A few more busy transfer windows coming up for them I think.

I don't buy your premises. Football's like Wacky Races—you want Dick Dastardly to hilariously fall in a ditch in sight of the finish line, not drive off a cliff and never return to subsequent episodes.

Though the tribal, messianic nonsense around Liverpool has its irritating side, it's also wonderfully barmy entertainment. From United and Chelsea over the years we've suffered really vindictive contempt from players, managers and fans. I'll save my vitriol for them.

I dunno Burnsy, have to side with Klaus on this. They are so deluded and frustrating that you can't even have a discussion with them without feeling like someone wrongfully put in an insane asylum and left to converse with he locals.

Actually got to the point that I had to ban a couple Liverpool supporting friends from talking to me about football when they started saying Gerrard was better than Zidane, Riise was the best left back in prem history and that Carragher was the bet defender England ever saw and that he retired because he realised that he was too good for the team loooooool.

The ban was the only way to preserve any semblance of a friendship that remained.

Couldn't decide who I'd rather have in the top four if someone put a gun to my head. They are all filth for different reasons and I'd give someone's arm and leg to see the three of them relegated.

I hate Liverpool mainly because of their fans and their former players who are scattered throughout the media. As a club I don't mind them too much. Actually had more time for them than the other teams until I met a few of the most deluded fans out there.

United I used to hate much more than I do now. All their plastic fans who were on the bandwagon, Alex Ferguson, their bribery of refs, van Horseface and the rest. When their fans aren't winning they are at least sensible enough to have a proper conversation about football with. Plastic and will probably leave the club but at least know their football.

Chelsea though, no history, classless club with the biggest cunt in managerial history at the helm. Their fans are also pretty deluded, granted not on Liverpool fan level, but have nothing to back up their talk.

Spurs are the worst though. As deluded as, and maybe even more than, those Liverpool fans but have pretty much an empty trophy cabinet since the club was formed.

As far as hatred to the club goes has to be Spurs>Chelsea>United>Liverpool
