Henry said something along the same lines on Sky post match (well apart from the "I'm a winner" part, he didn't have to say that 🙂 ).
He felt that if Monaco could come and play as well as they did at the Emirates that we were well capable of going there and doing better.
I'm not sure I have as much faith in us doing that as he does 🙂

It was almost soothing listening to him speak though, good to hear a different voice and perspective versus the bog standard hysteria and shrill raging.

Watched Monaco vs PSG at the weekend. Monaco offered absolutely nothing forward as usual, most of their games this season has less than a goal in it.

They were lucky to escape a 0-0 draw, PSG had loads of chances but can't put it away. Monaco struggles with pacey attacks.

I rather go through on Tue and dream about the CL rather than get knocked out in the CL and dream about the league. We can't do both and the former is more attainable.

Real, Barca and Bayern are still in the CL, so I don't see how the CL is more attainable. A Chelsea collapse (however unlikely) is surely more likely than us knocking out Monaco and subsequently oen or more of those three.

TBH, neither the league OR the CL are what I would call "attainable" this season. We can, of course, revisit this after Tuesday night.

I think we might have a small chance against Real if we'd somehow get past Monaco. They're not in balance right now and a Schalke without Draxler almost knocked them out. Bayern and Barca are so far ahead that it's ridiculous though. No way are we beating either of them.

Reckon we could frustrate Barca if we went all Monaco on their arses, with a lot of luck of course. Still think their defence can be got at, especially now that they don't press like they used to. We've gotten close in the past when the gaps been even wider... fucking Bendtner.

Really don't want to play Bayern though.
