Nordtveit for those of you who remember him, I was really hyped about him...the next best thing and all that...just scored this goal.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas scored 2 for QPR today as well...another one that I was hyped up about, I should be more calm.
Benik Afobe scored 2 as well...he is a good player really.

Much as I hate the guy just sounds like a couple friends talking before a game. Maybe a bit naive but they trust each other to not share the info. I doubt any professional player would be leaking team news, especially if it wasn't someone he wasn't as close to who could end up using this info to inform his team.

The guy is a cunt, no doubt, and I haven't got any time for him but I doubt there was anything sinister about that. Works both ways in any case because Pique was telling him the United team news as well. There is no way I can believe a professional footballer would sabotage their own career and chances of success deliberately. You can trust the wrong person and that would be a mistake but doing it on purpose just just plain stupidity that I would only expect from William "Own Goals" Gallas.

Great read on Fran Merida. Such a waste of talent, he was really decent when given the chances. Always thought he looked better than Denilson at the same age.

Nice article. I agree, I always thought he could be good enough for a top 10 premier league team but I think external factors hampered his career more than anything.

He's only 26 though, he can still have a few years at the top level if he wants it enough.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but Vieira has been appointed head coach of New York City FC from January. Will be very interesting to me to see how he manages.
