The way he treated them was a true representation of what type of person he is. Love the guy as a player but when it was time for him to lead the club by example he showed his true character. When he joined and it didn't quite go to plan Bergkamp took him under his wing but it was clear he wasn't the type of person who would do that for others when they needed it. Henry was banging in the goals so was always overlooked and he was always very PR conscious and not let it smear his character.
Wasn't there an interview a few weeks ago when in front of the press he told the player to put his chair, guy is acting like a stuck up teacher. Not surprised the players have had enough, management isn't just about tactics. It is also about your man management skills, if you don't have that then unless your tactics are exceptional you're not going to get far.
Not surprised he's fired, saving Monaco would have been hard enough if you were a great manager let alone someone with little to no experience.
