There are a few different ways you can interpret Edu's trajectory, but "a smooth Joorabchian protégé who was gifted a prestigious position by a dodgy operator eventually got found out, but was able to exploit the bad instincts of an autocratic and hot-headed decision-maker to make a lateral escape to another post beyond his ability while presenting the situation as career progress" is currently leading for me ... my main question isn't how good Edu is, but how good Edu himself thinks he is.
That said, Berta has already made a couple of huge signings who seem to be a bit iffy ...
