Former Arsenal Players Thread
Can't wait to find/see some other angles....lordy!
David Luiz, underrated during his time here:

David Luiz was a problem. A shit player and a poisonous presence. We improved significantly the day he left.
Qwiss 100%. The biggest help was showing younger players what not to do.
my lasting memory of him is the germany game where brazil got their shit pushed in at home and he was doing his fake crying bullshit like "please don't tear into me, it's not me i have passion and i love my country, it's these other fuckers."
This cheered me right up: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cy78868rnxxo
Coombs this is unfathomably heart warming stuff. Cheers!
He managed to still make a dig at us
I laughed so hard when I saw that result yesterday. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy

HomeSteak good to see Nelson scoring. Helps a potential sale.
Wish Eddie had scored a couple of instinctive goals like that for us. Maybe it's the confidence of a player who knows his team rely on him more than we did.
Eddie, Nelson and ESR all doing well is a good story for our academy. Creates a fantastic halo for upcoming players. It’s incredibly satisfying to see them all doing well.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas arrested for organising £600,000 cannabis importation. Not the usual type of former player story! I knew he had been in Scotland but not that he was still floating about the lower leagues.
I heard he was JETting it in.
Geddit? I said I heard he was... Oh, never mind.
Wow, that's sad. What an idiot.
Wow

Wow, thats crazy. People really are going the Alibaba route for their weed these days.
Legal where I live. Just go to the store.
Honeslty I'm more shaken up by the fact that he's 33 now. Still thought he was a young prospect entering his prime.
Still pretty unreal we bought him from League 1 and he played so many matches for us.
Only 32 now but he is already a free agent without clubs. Many players from that Wenger era ends up without a club past 30.
Clrnc I've said it before, I'm sure, but Charlton fans were shocked we bought him.
Look at a guy like holding. So beloved. Went to palace. Doubt he’s even played a single minute.
Wenger definitely persisted for too long with players.
Holding probably bought himself an extra season for his performance in the FA Cup final
ESR with his second goal of the season following an assist last week.
Not sure but I have feeling we should have kept him this season - would have been the perfect Ode replacement whilst he’s injured. Oh well. At least he’s playing games week in week out.
I guarantee Smith Rowe won’t be with Fulham in 2 years. He’s too good for them.
Sicario2 - Tier 1 I'm very happy for him
Claudius that title requirement for miracles didn't apply when our current manager was asked for top 4.

QuincyAbeyie all I’m saying is finishing 4th or 5th is extremely different from finishing 1st or 2nd these days. You can have a lot of faulty players
I watched Fabregas's interview on This is Football and he mentioned that he had offers from Chelsea, City and Man Utd in his final season at Barcelona. Annoyingly, Gary Lineker never asked him about Arsenal, but clearly there was no offer on the table from us. Hard to really dislike him after that if we didn't even want to re-sign him.
Rightfully so after the way he left us. Like your girl leaving you for another bloke, when it doesn't work out expecting you to take her back. And then when you don't, deciding to get together with a bloke you hate.
He's always been bitter that Wenger made no efforts to sign him when he wants to return.
We'd spent £40m on Ozil, was never going to happen.
