Yes, very. Looks bit heavier though, less nimble.
Would certainly need a lot of makeup to look like Kos.
Reading around what I gather is that he's a good defender that does the basics extremely well but that he's a bit primitive on the ball. Some think that Villarreal are willing to sell now that Mussachio has returned from injury and Victor Ruiz is in fine form.
Why don't we get Mussachio?
Rumours going on that we are also keeping tabs on Otamendi, although United's opening offer of 30m euros got rejected. Villarreal wants 20m euros for this guy.

Lots of Spanish sites reporting it now. Seems pretty quick for a CB.
This feels like a Wenger transfer. Question is whether we shell out the €20m release clause or bargain in vain to try to get from £15.5m to £12m.
We'll probably push it down to £10 million, throw a Campbell loan into the deal and sprinkle a few million in addons on top.
