Agreed, even though he was woeful for half the season - his impact in the first few months kinda showed what he could do if he did fit into the side. As long as United don't have a game changer like that and we continue to have Ozil and Sanchez, we can still focus on the teams in front of us rather than looking over our shoulder.
I also really don't want United to sign Otamendi.
Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger are great signings and well done to United - I'd happily take both here but I don't see them as a massive missed opportunity nor am I overly intimidated - they are good players, United aren't going to keep signing duds forever but It's not on the same level as last summer when Chelsea signed Fabregas, Costa and Luis - that's when most of us knew that the title was on its way to Stamford Bridge.
