What is he limited in? Technically he is great, his final ball is brilliant.

Unlike his first reign they are a lot more switched on financially this time round. They usually get good money for the players they let go and usually replace with players equally as good.

Reus is dirt cheap, they don't need to sell anybody to get him.
He hasn't been amazing for them, for £85m you have to be expecting C.Ronaldo numbers and he hasn't got anywhere close to that. 36 goals in 72 appearances so far, I'd expect more for the kind of money they've spent. Unlike this country where games are a lot more open and end to end he struggles when teams sit deeper and he has to be more clever with his movement. He's more suited for this league and think he'd be spectacular for Man Utd if he joined them. C.Ronaldo is the main man there and simply a level beyond what Bale will ever reach, if he came to Man Utd he'd be given a more free role and thrive as a result.
Even though Reus is cheap R.Madrid have too many good players already so someone will have to make room. Reus will probably have as much an impact and they'll make probably £75m from selling Bale and buying Reus, is a no brainer really.
madrid never have to sell to buy, given their revenue. they will never be in danger of violating FFP. they only sell players because they can only keep so many players in the squad.
personally, i think they will keep bale for at least one more season. i think the plan will be to play reus at LW, ronaldo at striker, and bale at RW. benzema has been "on the way out" there since he signed. i could see him being the one to go first.
i think its a near certainty they will sign de gea. they can pay £20m for reus, £30m for de gea, and £80m for pogba without blinking.
the united stuff is interesting to me. what was their net spend this past summer? £100m? and they are going to spend another £100m+ this summer if you believe the papers. their revenues, like madrid, are through the roof. you almost have to wonder why they didn't spend this heavily during the last few years of the red nose era. it might have left the squad in better shape.
No they don't have to but it is quite clear are managing things a lot more carefully now than ever before. Just need to look at the fees they've got for Higuain, Ozil & Di Maria. They only sold them until their valuations were met. They are also having 400m Euros woth of work done to their stadium so if they are going to make a move for Reus and say Pogba, they will look to move players on. The most likely players would be Bale + Modric imo
They can easily spend another £150m if they want and not be anywhere near FFP, i think.
I think Bale will stay at Real for at least another season as well.
I'd take Bale here. The added bonus is that it would piss that lot off in a major way; think it is time we did another Sol Campbell on them.

Rex in another going against the grain shocker.
wait... what? Wanting Bale here is going against the grain?
Or is that ironic or something?
Banduan don't be the new lagos...
Dnipro have confirmed that Konoplyanka is close to signing for Roma
Milan and Roma agree on Destro sale. Now upto player.
Milan sign Italian international Salvatore Bocchetti.
Palace close to re-signing Zaha for an inital 3m.
Palace also in talks to sign Jordon Mutch, Shola Ameobi and Papa Souare.
Mbiwa to Roma done for 5.5m.
How has Mbiwa done? He was one of those players linked to us and then went to Newcastle when Pardew went all French. How has he done in England?
Sounds like Wilfried Zaha is about to transfer back to Crystal Palace for a fee around £12 million. We really should jump at that one.

It's a fee of an initial 3m pounds plus some add-ons not 12m

United are insane.
United have no clue what to do with young talent anymore, both in terms of development and holding onto players. If they went young in 2012 they wouldn't have won the 2013 PL but they would have had such an exciting long-term core - Shaw, Jones, Smalling, Pogba, Zaha, Januzaj, Welbeck, and Wilson.
Seems to have found some of his mojo back at Crystal Palace.
No room for him here though if we're shipping Campbell and not playing Gnabry (injured I know).
This has to be the quietest transfer window I can remember.
Deadline day will be a snooze feast.

He has been in Rome for the past 6 months and just made it permanent.
Roma fans i know dont like him though. Nowhere near our quality.
From what I have seen Mbiwa is highly erratic. Can look like a good defender one day and a complete liability on the other.
