Read somewhere that Coquelin had 5 tackles and 4 interceptions against West Ham. That is VERY impressive IMO. As far as his passing being below par in the game, I generally agree; however, it is wise to look at the context of the game here IMO. The whole team had a poor performance when it comes to passing, and Coquelin was 4th, I think, in pass completion. He also hit over 40 percent of his passes forward, which I generally am in favor of.
He is no world beater, by any means, but I'd play him over Flamini any day of the week as soon as Ramsey or Arteta is back.
