Delph was fantastic. Haven't watched Villa very much this season. Has he been this good all season for them? Not talking about a goal and an assist per game of course, but playing wise. Fantastic engine, good technique, intelligent positioning, good defensive awareness, good, creative passing. He was really, really impressive today!

Time to give Sherwood some credit too I reckon. He was good at Spurs, and he has completely turned Villa's season around. He is OTT, goofy looking, the gilet - but he has had a positive influence for two clubs now.
