I suspect he'll go to RM, and we may have an opportunity to sign Benzema.
Madrid are not messing with their balance. Benzema is key to piecing their attack together and giving Ronaldo and Bale enough opportunities to score.

Thought I'd read something earlier along the lines they were prepared to sell us Benzema, as PSG wanted to offload Cavani to sign di Maria.
Not happening. Benzema recently extended his contract and is playing extremely well this season. He's the perfect tactical fit in that side.

If we're to wait until the summer, I'd rather get someone like Höwedes.
I'd take Reid/Vlaar this month in a heartbeat. Both Villa and West Ham would sell now if a 5-10 mil bid comes in since both players are set to leave in the summer for free. Kos-Per will be our first choice pairing for the next couple of seasons at least so a solid, PL-proven player as 3rd choice is best we can hope for IMO.
Thiago Motta has asked for a transfer from PSG. I'd offer to take him on loan for the rest of the season.

Not particularly. He's getting on in years though, but he's still bloody good.

Vlaar's a bit old, he'll be 30 next month. He's had injury issues this season too.
