Makes no difference anyway. United fans are probably having just an interesting season as the always do.

Want us to be as successful as possible but I can't be bothered worrying about it anymore. Maybe it's because I've not been to a game in yonks but I feel very detached from it right now. It's not that I want it to be that way but it's just consequential to the situations. Too much exposure to groundhog season.

We'll still end up 3rd, as I've said all along. We are the grand total of 2 points off 4th, we will end up above Man U, and Southampton will drop off.

If there's one thing Wenger knows it's how to get 4th so no doubt he'll scrape home in the end and be rewarded with the usual bonus and contract extension. Might be a panic signing in January now it's looking in doubt.

In order to do that Wenger needs to buy a defensive minded mid and centreback in January. Preferably upgrade Szczesny, play to giroud's strengths and drop Ramsey

I still maintain that we need a genuine goal scoring CF finisher as much as we need both a CMD and another CB.

Personally I don't think we'll get 4th this time. We're in the sort of catastrophic, demoralised trough that Wenger never manages to get us out of, except it's happened a lot earlier in the season than normal.

I think Utd will do a better job of spending their way out of their hole than we will, so it's a straight fight between us & Liverpool & Everton for 4th IMO.

Don't discount Southampton. They're a good team.

United will fade back. They won't spend big on a fast forward which is what they need most

I can't believe that we are yet again going to be involved in a stressful scrap for fourth. Our season is effectively over as we all know what will happen in the champions league and I recon we'll revert to type in the FA cup.

Can see a shit load of empty seats at games nearer Christmas.

Just done a predictor to see where I think we'll sit on New Year's Eve.

Have us winning 4, drawing 2 and losing 1 from our next seven (west Brom a, Southampton h, Stoke a, Newcastle h, Liverpool a, QPR h, west ham a)

Think we'll be tied 5th with the table looking like this after 19 rounds

I am not worried about getting in the top 4 at all, but I really, really want Chavski to lose a game now. They'll win the league for sure, but they need that loss sooner rather than later.
