Quick question: how many more goals than us have Chelsea, United and City scored? Don't look at the league table. Just take a guess.

I'd guess Chelsea and City have maybe 10 more than us, United about the same as us?

That's what I (and most posters) would have guessed. In reality:
City have 4 more than us
Chelsea have the same as us
United have 8 fewer than us

It's a good reality check for those who always bay that we need to score more goals, that we should score 2 or 3 more goals than we do every time we go out and play. That Giroud is a lump and we would have 10 more goals a season if we had a better striker, etc., etc.

if hull can somehow take a point tomorrow, its game on i think.

we're currently 4 back and they have 2 in hand. if they draw tomorrow, then we're 5 back and they have 1 in hand. assume they win that, they are 8 up. we beat them, they are 5 up. we'd have to run the table. they still have to play man united and liverpool.

its unlikely, sure, but its not impossible.

I'll give you Citeh, however ManU have been mis-firing for much of the season, and CFC have played 2 less than us, however both Citeh and CFC have better GDs than us.
One of the reasons I want a better striker is to convert the early chances so as to take the pressure off both the defence and individuals.

We'd have to win against Pool, Chelsea and United. If we do that we win the title. It's a massive uphill task though.
