Even if you don't have any emotions and are a football watching robot who views all our rivals equally you should still want United to finish outside the top 4. Another season without CL football, after all they've spent will damage them massively. They'll lose sponsorship money, they'll be far less attractive to serious top level players in their prime, the players they have will want more money to stay, etc
Its catastrophic for United to miss out again. For City its a blip, for Liverpool its not going to be enough to make them serious contenders anyway.
