He is, but only after we've sucked for a considerable amount of time and with no other options left but to shut up shop and go out for classic 1-0 wins. Not that I'd be against that, but I hate it how long it takes him to figure that out all the time.

Agree. I have no idea what people are killing Wenger for today. His fault we didn't buy a CB and/or CM, but I thought our setup was ok today, our defensive personnel just isn't good enough.

The fact that Swansea were allowed to start a counter attack when the scoreline was 1-0, shows that the team/Wenger have learned not one iota from the Anderlecht game. Gibbs' foul was necessary to stop it, and the FK was just brilliant, but the whole situation prior to it was yet another error by us.

The 2-1 was just a consequence of having a LB as CB. Kos wouldn't have lost an aerial duel with Gomis. I won't fault Monreal, he's doing his best.

Because he has signed and nurtured every single player in this team. We have a distinctly average bunch of footballers running around out there, and in itself it's a much more serious problem than just screwing up tactically. Tactics can be adjusted, but you're on a hiding to nowhere when you're short on quality.
