For anyone who prefers a dark theme / night mode: I've been using the "dark background and light text" extension on Firefox over the last few days and my user experience has been greatly improved. It basically forces all web browsing to use a dark theme, no more blindingly white pages!
For anyone who tries it, I recommend setting your background to a dark grey instead of the default black. I've been using #3b3b3b
