It's all just a load of nonsense. I can't stand the way Wenger approaches the whole process of putting a squad together to compete. There's just no common sense involved.

Could be because he got a good offer for Campbell and now feels we are short in numbers. Either that, or Sanogo is crocked again.

I don't get why we can't sign a CB and a defensive midfielder at least. Alright, fair enough if the likes of Cavani and Benzema are pipe dreams but at least do what you can in the meanwhile and wait for the right opportunity.

Actually, even another striker, like Remy, to push Sanogo (ffs) down the pecking order would be worth it and not overly expensive.

Since the rise of Man City, it's been down to who has the most strength in depth as much as any tactical or individual genius. It's sickening that Wenger doesn't even give us that much. I honestly though this window would be different because of the way we started.

I'm not sure I believe that. Despite fan and journalists wishes, Arsenal have consistently shown no interest in Remy.

It's probably just his agent trying to squeeze some extra quid out of Chelsea.

Don't know, it would seem a very Arsenal-like move going by the last few summer windows.

Remy... Loic Remy... Are you kidding me?

This will be the most boring and frustrating deadline days in a while. I expect Remy to go to Chelsea and us to sign absolutely fucking no-one. I'm not even going to watch Sky sports.

If we wanted Remy we'd have got him by now.

The same way we'd have tried to loan Demba Ba early last summer too?

You can't expect better from Arsenal right now. Scratching around all summer and then making a late move for Remy sounds exactly like something we'd do. It's such a shame because I like Gazidis and think he's done a lot of good for the club, but he's fucked it all up again. After starting the window so well, too. Such a poorly managed mess.

Last summer was different, we were actively chasing a striker all summer. This year it was obvious from pretty early on that Sanchez is who Wenger has in mind to play up top. Maybe the Giroud injury will change things but Wengers comments tell me were not going to sign an average striker because Giroud is injured.

Those who are saying Wenger is clueless, could we give him another 24 hours at least to judge? It's not like there's really anyone available out there with regards to striker.

This is a summer in which Balotelli, Lewandowski, Mandzukic, Costa, Lukaku moved.
Cavani, Benzema and Falvao all rumored to be in play, one of them signing an extension.
Finally, if all we wanted was a Sanogo upgrade, this is a summer when Ba, Eto'o, Lambertini, etc moved. Others like Remy and the Swansea boy are probably attainable.
Either Wenger does not want a striker, which means he's blind to squad quality; or he's incapable of getting a deal done.

This.

We need a striker and a midfielder and a CB. That is what is obvious, not whatever Wenger is doing in his stubborn delusional head.

only a midfielder and a cb can salvage this window. I think we'll nab one of those and it will be some cnut that hadn't been linked at all like toulalan or motta on loan

Remy is shit and Wenger is clueless.

Other way around Kel.

A centre back and midfielder as a must for me, anything less is a failure. Leaving it to the last day is madness though.

Deadline's tomorrow 11pm.

Where's our maaaaadness Wengie?
