Chamberlain is a season or two away from being a week in week out starter. He will get there but right now for a title winning squad is an ideal back up for both the left and the right side.

From that point of view, Cerci at 27 is the right age - player in his prime, not extremely expensive and can be replaced from within for week in week out action in 2 years.

Griezmann isn't someone who carries the ball forward alone, he is more of a combination player which I think we have enough of them.

Didn't realise Cerci is 27 already. Always thought he was some young talent from Roma.

Because we're playing Alexis up front. We literally only have Walcott who fits the description of a pacy winger who moves vertically, and he's still out.

Make sense but we would be killing Campbell, and even Podolski.

Looks like a good player, especially at the price quoted. From that compilation, seems to have a touch of the Robben tendency of hanging on to the ball for too long, but I guess when you are a winger, it sort of comes with the territory.

Can't make sense of this unless we are selling Podolski which I hope is not the case.

the only upside is if it keeps ozil off the left wing. other than that i dont see the point of signing an above average winger that doesnt score goals?

Except that he plays on the right wing.

It's like people saying "hey, let's loan Falcao for 20m, such a great deal" and then completely disregard the amount we'd have to spend on his crazy wages.

😆

Weird watching a proper winger playing on the wing plus worth noting that his acceleration is incredible.

Oh Wenger most high and almighty!
What hast thou done to moi?

Edit: for IG's LOL

if he can't play on both sides it makes this rumour even more baffling.

He's not good enough and i don't believe this rumour for a second.

For whoever asked, he is 1.80m or about five foot eleven.

I'm not excited by this rumour. Should I be?

Don't need another midget. Zigic or nothing.

I'd like him, if only to think up some Game of Thrones songs. Something to do with incest obviously. He'd also try and kill all the midgets in our team.

The incredibly mainstream asoiaf saga is considered nerdy? 😐

Has joined Atletico. Looks like the news was correct as reported 2 weeks ago.

Good signing for them.

I hope i am alive to see one these 'cool player' threads by Klaus come off one day. This was never gonna happen.
