First thing I thought of when I saw this rumour was, Wenger must have been Greece world cup matches 😆 I remember telling Kel this guy is more impressive in that match than Manolas.

Why would BVB sell him though.

They have exactly the same issue in the sense that they have 2 first choice CB's and he's third choice but played to the fact both Hummels and Subotic got lengthy injuries. They have Ginter too now.

Perhaps the player is forcing the issue given that he can earn more while playing for us and BVB double their money from last year.

No way Dortmund are doing business this late unless we offer stupid cash. This is the time for the scouting system to shine and find a capable cheap player who can do a job but isn't extraordinary.

Very versatile player, can play RB/LB. More established and better than Manolas too. Seriously want this to happen. In fact, this is the first defender mentioned this summer that i would be seriously excited about.

Was excited about Manolas too, but this guy is level above him.

Express say we bid £10.9m but they want closer to £20m.

BVB bought him for 9.5m euro a year ago.

Papadopoulos has proved to be a crock so far in his career. So I would not touch him until he proves that he can stay fit for a significant amount of time.

Yes, but we could have taken him on loan without long term risk.

Very good defender, would be serious competition for Kos and Mertesacker. We won't sign him though, makes too much sense.

Don't think Dortmund will sell him. He has been their best defender last season.
