He did confirm he wants to go to England, as in Spain, in order to win, you have to go to Real or Barca, and it's more complicated to get game time. He seems to follow stuff closely - the journo tells him about Modric and "the famous" Bale in his group in the World Cup, and he added "and Kranjcar too".
He's either made up his mind and is waiting until the deal is done officially, or he wants English clubs to start a bidding war and see what they offer, both in terms of money, playing time, and the chance for him to improve (which he always mentions in each interviews).
We have a good shot re the two latter things, but the first one will be a problem, especially if Lille is asking for 40M. My feeling is that if we cough up the dough, he would love to come to Arsenal and Arsene, but he knows we probably won't.
